Knight of Pentacles

General

The Knight of Pentacles is the slowest moving knight of all four suits, and is the most patient. So when this knight pops up, you know you need to be patient with the situation that you are inquiring about. This knight is dedicated and hard working, and every step taken is purposeful. In traditional tarot, the Knight of Pentacles is stagnant, and unlike the other Knights in the other suits, he is not moving. He is holding onto his pentacle whilst overlooking the field, contemplating the harvests that it might yield in the future. Upright

In the upright position, the Knight of Pentacles represents commitment to a specific task or project. This Knight is a reliable one and is someone you would trust to accomplish a goal, or to stick to the task at hand. In love, this is a loyal lover. This person may take a while to commit to you, but once they have made up their minds, they are going to stick with you through thick and thin. A relationship with the Knight of Pentacles is a stable and secure one, and one that may not be exciting or fast paced but one that promises a lot of certainty. In career and finances, the Knight of Pentacles represents focus and drive and hard work. This knight is someone who would take measured and calculated steps towards their career and/or financial goals, and you know they would achieve them.  

Reversed

In the reversed position, the Knight of Pentacles could mean that the querent may not be moving at the pace that they are supposed to i.e. they are moving too slowly. The querent may be spending too much time planning, overthinking the situation and strategizing instead of going out there and just getting the work done.
