Ace of Pentacles
General
The Ace of Pentacles represents success and new beginnings especially in the material world, this could mean success in career, finances or studies. This card usually is a positive card to receive that indicates that wealth and abundance is coming in. In traditional tarot, the Ace of Pentacles is depicted with a hand coming out of the clouds with a single gold pentacle. In the background is a garden, symbolising growth and prosperity, and a mountain in the distance symbolising the determination and will to overcome one’s obstacles.
Upright
This card is about new beginnings, especially new beginnings in the material. This is a new doorway that is opening up for the querant and opportunities are presenting itself to you. In love, this card represents a new solid and stable new beginning in relationships. It could also symbolise prosperity and abundance manifesting for the couple. Sometimes, I see this as an offer of love being presented, but this is not really a romantic offer, but one of commitment. This sometimes can represent a proposal with a diamond ring (or a ring). In career and finances, this card represents new opportunities in work, studies or business. This is also about new financial investments and goals.
Reversed
In the reversed position, this could mean that there were missed opportunities and false starts. The querent could have taken financial risks that did not pay off. But this card does not spell doom and gloom, but more of a missed opportunity or some loss. In love, this cold mean that theirs is a lack of stability (emotional and/or otherwise), and this may cause some imbalance. This could also mean that there are money issues in the relationship, which causes conflict. In career and finances, there may have been missed career or financial opportunities. This can sometimes mean loss and feeling defeated due to poor financial or career decisions.
