The World
We are at the end of the Major Arcana! (It’s been a while, I know! But I hope this has been as insightful for you as possible!)
General
The World is a positive card to get – whether you are asking about love, relationships or business. This predicts happy outcomes and a happy future. The World card talks about cycles ending. The World card talks about success and rewards, it talks about things coming to fruition. In traditional tarot, the World card is about a dancing figure in the center, and she symbolises balance and evolution in movement. She is surrounded by a wreath of flowers and there are 4 figures – representing Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius, and Taurus. They symbolise the harmony between all of their energies.
Upright
The World talks about completion and this is about fulfilment, achievement and reaching a major milestone in your life. In love, the World card talks about feeling loved and grateful. There is a sense of fulfilment in your love life and a sense of you completing a cycle. In career and finances, you may be completing career goals and you may be achieving your goals in your career. This could also mean that you are meeting your goals, financial goals in particular. It could be that you are traveling for work or traveling for leisure (or going on a honeymoon).
Reversed
When the World is reversed, this is not entirely a bad card to receive either (like the Sun card). In love, there might be something that is incomplete with your connection with your person. There might be delays happening in your love life. In career and finances, you may be overestimating what you can achieve and you may be falling short. It could be about delays and you not being able to fulfil your goals.
Astrological Associations
The Wheel of Fortune is represented by the signs: Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius and Taurus. They are representative of the four corners of the universe, the four elements, and the four evangelicals. These signs can also be seen on the Magician’s table in the Magician card, and it seems like a cycle that is wrapping up because what has started with the Magician is culminating with the World card.
