Ten of Pentacles

General

The Ten of Pentacles is a card about family and legacy and can be about strong support systems and financial stability. This card is about wealth and inheritance and this is something that would benefit the entire family or community. This card is usually depicted by a man seated in front of a large house, he is surrounded by younger members of his family and it is a picture of happiness and pentacles surround him and the archway above him. This is a card of affluence, of multiple generations benefiting from the wealth and privilege achieved by generations before.

Upright

In the upright position, the Ten of Pentacles talks about permanence and stability. It emphasises thinking of the future and having a long term outlook instead of thinking of the short term, and to me, this is a card that promises that it would all be for something in the end. In love, this card talks about someone that you could built a family with. It is possible that this person may be someone that you can build a stable relationship with. This could also mean a power couple, or a couple that is financially stable. And possibly a couple that would be accepted and embraced by the family. In career and finances, this is about creating a lasting career and stable future ahead. This is definitely a card that is positive for career and finances.

Reversed

In the reversed position, this card might not be too positive for finances. This may point to financial issues that may not be apparent right now. This card could also talk about relationships that seem quite stable end unexpectedly. In love, this could talk about conflicts within the family and conflicts in love. This could sometimes talk about relationships that have been stable or a marriage that has been quite strong break down suddenly. Family could be an obstacle in a relationship. In career and finances, this could talk about a dissolution of a company, becoming bankrupt or in debt. This could talk about instability in one’s career and losses. This can some times indicate conflicts within the family over money, or over inheritance.
